Summary

Dozō does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. No account is required. Nothing leaves your device or devices unless you explicitly choose to share it through Apple's standard system mechanisms.

2. Data we collect

None. Dozō does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to Hecaton AB or any third party. No account registration is required. No usage data, analytics, or identifiers are sent anywhere.

All data you create within the app — including any draft content saved locally to recover from an unexpected quit — remains on your device or devices and is never transmitted by Dozō.

3. iCloud Drive

Dozō does not use CloudKit and does not enroll an iCloud container. Your library is stored as a folder on your device. If you choose to place that folder inside iCloud Drive, Apple will sync it across your Apple ID-linked devices as it would any other folder. That sync is between you and Apple under Apple's own privacy terms — Dozō has no access to it, no visibility into it, and no role in it.

4. Crash reporting

Dozō contains no crash reporting SDK. We do not directly receive crash data of any kind.

On iOS and iPadOS, Apple's operating system may collect anonymized crash information if you have opted in at the system level. This setting is found at:

If enabled, Apple aggregates and anonymizes this data before making it available to us in App Store Connect. We never receive personally identifying information, device identifiers, or the contents of your library — only stack traces, device class, and OS version.

You can disable this at any time. If disabled, no crash data of any kind reaches us.

5. TestFlight (beta)

During the beta testing phase, Dozō is distributed via Apple's TestFlight platform. TestFlight is subject to Apple's own privacy policy and may collect feedback and usage data independently of anything Hecaton AB controls. Hecaton AB does not receive personally identifiable information through this process.

6. Third-party services

Dozō does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or crash reporting services. There are no embedded SDKs from any such providers.

7. Your rights under GDPR

As a company registered in Sweden, Hecaton AB is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Since Dozō does not collect personal data, there is currently no personal data held by us that would be subject to access, correction, or deletion requests.
